Farmville..............................Alton Wayne Speight, age 82, died Saturday, January 23, 2016. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. from the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Woolard and Rev. Jack Weathersby. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2:00 P.M. Mr. Speight was a member of Friendship Original Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Speight of the home; daughters, Valerie Cobb and husband, Gilbert of Walstonburg, and Deborah Beamon and husband, Dennis of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Chad Beamon and wife, Christy, Stacy Beamon, Shannon Thorne and husband, Neal, and Haley Jones and husband, Brandon; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cailyn, Brendan, Colby, Nikki, Jenna, and Parker.
