Farmville.........................Alvin Caston Lewis, age 81, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 9, at 11:00 A.M at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gary Penell. Interment will follow in the Nichols Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Carol Nichols Lewis of the home; daughters, Leshia Walton of Snow Hill, Stacy Sumrell of Snow Hill, and Donna Kirby of Farmville; sons, Jeff Lewis of Grimesland, Greg Lewis of Virginia; and Larry King of Farmville; sisters, Ailene Kendall of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Carolyn Wilkey of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
