Fountain...................................Dell Langley Deans, age 105, of 3879 Bell Road, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & Bob Corbett. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 12:00 noon at Maccripine Free Will Baptist Church, 5815 NC 111 South, Macclesfield, NC by Pastor Donald C. Holland. Interment will follow at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd H. Deans, in August, 1969; son, Kenneth H. Deans, in October, 2007; parents, John Thomas and Mary Eliza Langley; siblings, Beulah L. Owens, Leona L. Fuller, James T. Langley, William L. Langley, and J. Moseley Langley. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce D. Corbett and husband, Robert S. (Bobby) Corbett of Fountain; daughter-in-law, Pamela H. Deans of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Camela C. Varnell and husband, Timothy S. Varnell of Wilson, Dana M. Deans of Macclesfield, Candace D. Moore of Stantonsburg; great-grandchildren, Adam and Jenna Varnell of Wilson and Dustin and Blake Moore of Stantonsburg; great-great grandchildren, Madilynn Nichole, Allie Raye, and Layla Grace Moore, all of Stantonsburg; sister, Dorothea L. Edwards of Colonial Heights, VA; and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff of 3HC Home Care and Hospice; Sandra Krantz, Brook Tyson, Crystal Weideman, Laura Hignite, and Nancy Brown, for their medical support, care, and concern during her declining health; and to Faye Gay, Tammy Whitley, and Patricia Castro for "being there" as her friend. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon prior to the service and other times at the home, 3879 Bell Road, Fountain, NC.
