Falkland..................................Dennis Lee Deans, age 65, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 4, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Jones. Interment will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park. Mr. Deans was a member of Falkland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his brother, J.R. Deans and wife, Charlotte of Falkland; niece, Lisa Oakley and husband, Lewis; great niece, Marla Oakley and great nephew, Jamison Oakley and wife, Ashley. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. and other times at the home of J.R. and Charlotte Deans, 3817 Buck Moore Road, Macclesfield, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Falkland Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 28, Falkland, NC 27827.
