Dorothy Jones Bowen, 92, of Martinsville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was born in Farmville, N.C., to the late Mildred Eason Jones and Lionel Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Grayson Bowen, a sister, Lois Jones Tyson, of Farmville, and a brother, Douglas R. Jones, of Greenville. Dorothy is survived by a son, a daughter, six grandchildren and a great-grandson. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 29, at 11:00 am, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Farmville.
