Elizabeth Ann "Lib" N. Worthington

Farmville.............................Elizabeth Ann "Lib" N. Worthington, age 85, passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016 at River Trace in Washington. A native of Pitt County she was born May 3, 1931 to the late Otis and Mildred Nanney. August 15, 1950, she married the love of her life Meron Alfred Worthington, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lois N. Sain; and brothers, Ray Nanney and Robert Nanney. After her service with Farmville High School she worked with Phizer for many years. She was also an Avon representative and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmville. Lib is survived by her daughter, Gail W. Baker and husband, Ricky of Greenville; sister, Dot Winstead of Apex; brother, Carl Nanney and wife, Peggy of Greenville, SC; and a sister-in-law, Marie Nanney of Farmville. Graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. from Forest Hills Cemetery by Rev.
