Shelby Augustus Roebuck

Farmville.................................Shelby Augustus Roebuck, age 87, died peacefully Monday, January 9, 2017 at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. from the First Baptist Church of Farmville by Dr. Rick Bailey and Rev. Ray Barnhill. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Mr. Roebuck was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the longtime owner of Roebuck Insurance Agency. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johanna Roebuck; and a daughter, Patricia Oakley. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Norville and husband, Roy of Farmville and Elizabeth Brown and husband, Chris of Wilson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
