Farmville……………………………………………..Margaret Elizabeth Nelson May, age 78, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024. 

                                                                                A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13 at 11:30 A.M. at Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:15 A.M. at Farmville Funeral Home.

                                                                                Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, David May; parents and several brothers and sister.

                                                                                Mrs. May was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Countryside Village and Gentiva Hospice.

                                                                                She is survived by her daughter, Tama May Blackburn and husband, Stuart of Raleigh; sons, Chris May of Greenville, Jeffrey May and wife, Jeannie of Snow Hill; sister, Lou Slaughter of Farmville and grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Blackburn, Mason May, Carmen May, and Trey Ray.

Box 694, Farmville, NC 27828 or The Ridge at Pikeville (formerly Countryside Village), specified for Activities Director, 5383 US Hwy 117 North, Pikeville, NC 27863.
