Carol Garris-Hamill

Falkland.........................Carol Garris-Hamill, age 59, died Monday, November 11, 2019. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 14, at 11:00 A.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tim Askew. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens near Farmville. Mrs. Hamill was a nurse for 38 years. In 2006 she was selected as one of the top 100 nurses in NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bumps and Margie Garris; and sister, Patricia Sue Garris. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tim Hamill of the home; and special pet, Little Mann; sisters, Connie Oakley and husband, Bryant, and Cindy Sibbett, all of Farmville; brother, Lambert Garris of Greenville; mother-in-law, Joyce Hamill, sisters-in-law, Connie Hamill Adams and significant other, Greg Glisson, Vickie Hamill Richard and husband, Ray, brother-in-law, Ronnie Hamill, all of Falkland; nieces and nephews, Matthew Oakley and wife, Kristin, Dylan Sibbett, Morgan Hamill, Brittany Garris, Kalen Sibbett, Demi Garris, and Riley Richard. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home.
