Stantonsburg.....................Cindy Owens Moye, age 89, died Friday, November 22, 2019. Funeral Service will be conducted Sunday, November 24, at 2:00 P.M. at Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Tony Glass and Rev. Glenn Pate. Interment will follow in the Walstonburg Cemetery. Mrs. Moye was a member of Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Moye. She is survived by her daughters, Kaye Sowers and husband, Steve of Walstonburg and Gail Deans of Wilson; son, Ronnie Moye and wife, Patricia of Stantonsburg; sisters, Lizzie Mae Cobb of Saratoga and Linda Wooten of Wilson; grandchildren, Nelson Deans and wife, Sara, Amy Wiggins and husband, Zack, Kellie Etheridge and husband, Brandon, Lindsey White and husband, Steve, Drew Sowers and wife, Lauren, and Wes Sowers and wife, Mary George; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. and other times at her residence, 104 Cox Lane, Stanstonburg, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Debbie Gay, 930 Meadow Road, Walstonburg, NC 27888.
