Curtiss "Russell" Letchworth

Snow Hill.........................Curtiss "Russell" Letchworth was born in Greene County on October 26, 1936 to Burlen and Beadie Letchworth. He went to be with his Lord on January 18, 2017. Mr. Letchworth was a member of Free Union Original Free Will Baptist Church where he served faithfully as long as his health allowed. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Letchworth; and a sister, Gayle Wade. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Free Union Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Stephen Prescott and Rev. Jonathan Whitford. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 until 1:00 P.M. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, of fifty-nine years, Peggy Letchworth of the home; daughter, Rhonda Gooch of Snow Hill; son, Michael Letchworth (Glenda) of Snow Hill; sister, Ann Dixon of Snow Hill; brother-in-law, Howard Wade of Carrollton, VA; and grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Gooch, and Amanda Letchworth.
