Dalton Gray Peaden

Fountain.................................Dalton Gray Peaden, age 74, died Monday, February 1, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 4, at 11:00 A.M. from the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dennis Sherrod and Rev. Larry Letchworth. Interment will follow in the Peaden Family Cemetery. Mr. Peaden was a member of Dilda's Grove Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He was also a member of the Sharp Point Fire Department and was retired from the Pitt County Schools Supply/Maintenance Department. He is survived by his wife, Margie Sessoms Peaden of the home; daughter, Wendy Peaden Wooten and husband, Wes of Fountain; sisters, Mary Peaden Wooten of Fountain and Annie Lee Peaden Joyner of Fountain; and brother, Donald Ray Peaden of Greenville. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
