Snow Hill................................. Doris Hart Murphrey, age 84, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her home. Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 24, at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Hills Cemetery in Farmville by Rev. Randy Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Barrow and husband, Larry of Farmville and Connie Murphrey of Greenville; sister, Bobbie Brunson of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Jake Barrow, Bryan Barrow, Don Stocks, Matlock Stocks, and Ben Stocks; and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. The family extends special thanks to her caregivers, Sue Best Tuten, Tracy Smith, Angie Tyson, Kathy Cummings, and Caroline Speight and to Dr. Steven Hamstead and staff.
