Farmville.................................Edwin Lee Morrow, 76, passed away Friday at his home. He was born May 28, 1940, in Peoria, IL, to Edwin E. Morrow and Ella Clawson Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret H. Morrow. Surviving are one son, Edwin Morrow; one step-son, Gregory Purcell; one daughter, Toni (and Brian) Wyatt; five living sisters, Sandra (and Don) Scoles; Tanya (and John) Grabel; Murlea Vance; Monica Jones; and Cheryl Jones; two living brothers, Roger (and Sharon) Morrow; and Fred Williams; three grandchildren, Robert Morrow; Andrew Wyatt, and Aden Wyatt; and one great-grandson, Avery Morrow. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Morrow and one sister Veanne Williams. Eddie entered the United States Navy in 1958. He proudly served on the USS Greenwich Bay until 1961, and quietly treasured his Sailor of the Month wrist watch he earned through his dedicated service. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company after 32 years of work as a Machinist. He was a loyal member of the UAW. Work had no greater pleasure for Eddie than the many years he spent after retirement at the Pekin Park District, where he performed golf course maintenance at Lick Creek Golf Course. Eddie was a loving Husband as well as a generous Son, Father, Father-in-Law, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Brother-in-Law, and Uncle who shared his time, energy, and love with those for whom he cared.
