Greenville.................................Garland Ellis Wainwright, age 69, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at his home. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 5, at 7:30 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Spencer Letchworth. The family will receive friends from 7 until 7:30 P.M. prior to the service. Mr. Wainwright was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Beatrice Wainwright. He is survived by his companion, Ann Vandiford of the home; brothers, Phillip Wainwright and wife, Rose of Macclesfield and Marvin Douglas Wainwright and wife, Melga of Rocky Mount; step children, Rhonda D. Ring of Winterville and Carlos T. Ring of Florida; three grandchildren, Andrew Gardner, Brooke Gardner, and Kendall Gardner; niece, Olivia Wainwright.
