Bell Arthur...............................James Allen Knapp, age 66, formerly of Elyria, Ohio, died October 29, 2015 at his home following a long illness. Mr. Knapp was born July 28, 1949 in Elyria, Ohio to Arthur and Barbara Knapp. He graduated from Elyria High School in 1967, and served in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971 with the U.S.M.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; brother, Ron and a stillborn brother in infancy; grandparents, Gilbert and Olive Knapp and John and Mary Gimben. Jim is survived by his mother, Barbara Knapp; brothers, Gary of Barracada, Guam and David (Carolyn) of Elyria, Ohio; nephews, Ryan of Elyria, Ohio and Griffin (Kristin) of Beavercreek, Ohio; niece, Shannon Kopp (Brad) of Elyria, Ohio; great nephew, Landon Kopp and great niece, Scarlett Knapp; his caregiver and adoptive niece, Tracie Brady of Bell Arthur and adoptive nephew, Jay and Kim Lance Brady.
