Farmville........................................... Jesse Hardy Beckman. age 58, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was predeceased by his father, George Edward Beckman III; sister, Mary Elizabeth Beckman; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Beckman, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thomas Hardy; step-grandmother, Ruby Hardy; uncles and Aunts, Jesse Thomas Hardy, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. William M. Lovelace. Survivors include his mother, Ann Hardy Beckman of Farmville; sister, Cynthia A. Beckman of Boone; aunt, Sue Hardy Paul of Greenville; and many cousins and friends. Jesse enjoyed farming and hunting. He was a member of the Farmville Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville at 2:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 P.M. at the Farmville Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends after the service in the family life center.
