Walstonburg......................................Jimmie Lee Holloman, age 77, died Sunday, December 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. at Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Tony Glass. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6 until 7:00 P.M. Committal service will be held Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the Walstonburg Cemetery. Mr. Holloman was a member of Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and held several positions in the Layman's League. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served as chaplain of Walstonburg American Legion Post 332. He is survived by his wife, Janice Holloman of the home; sons, Jimmie Lee "Pete" Holloman Jr. and wife, Angie of Walstonburg, and Michael Holloman; and partner, David Edwards of Greenville, and their special friends, Valerie Knight-Hyatt and Alice Knight-Hyatt; sister, Lib Edwards of Snow Hill, granddaughter, Krystale Joyner and husband, Tyler; great-granddaughter, Khloie Bundy; God grandchildren, Alexander Knight-Hyatt, Andrew Knight-Hyatt, and Allie Grace Knight-Hyatt.
