A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Kingâ�™s Cross Roads Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Bruce Jones. Mr. Shasteen was a member of Kingâ�™s Cross Roads Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Navy after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Donna Shasteen of the home; daughter, Rhonda Johnson and husband, Tom of Fountain; sons, Richard â�œDeanâ₝ Shasteen of Clayton and Ray Shasteen and fiancé, Tanya of Walstonburg; seven grandchildren, Ruthmarie Dempsey and husband, David, Carl Modlin and wife, Brittany, Dennis Shasteen and fiancé, Heidi, Ray Conner Shasteen, Ben Johnson and fiancé, Jessie, Donna Brown and husband, Trevor, and Lindsey â�œL.T.â₝ Shasteen; and four great grandchildren, Alyssa and Kaitlyn Dempsey, Christopher Peaden, and Jacqueline Brown.
