Peggy Ann Letchworth

Snow Hill........................Peggy Ann Letchworth, age 79, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of Roland and Minnie Letchworth. She was an active member of Free Union OFWB Church and a beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, great-Grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 19, at 11:00 A.M. at Free Union Church with the Reverend Stephen Prescott and Reverend Jonathan Whitford officiating. Interment will follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell; son, Andy; sisters, Christine Smith, Gladys Walston, and Shelby Eason; brothers, Melvin Letchworth, David Letchworth, Joe Letchworth, and William Letchworth. She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Gooch of the home; son, Michael Letchworth (Glenda) of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Stephanie Gooch (Ricky Lambert), Christopher Gooch, and Amanda Letchworth (Jon Coltrain); one great grandchild, Haley Lambert; brother, Jimmy Letchworth (Joyce); sister-in-law, Ann Dixon; and brother-in-law, Howard Wade. Memorials may be made to Free Union Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2535 Fire Tower Road, Walstonburg, NC 27888. Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
