Addie Catherine (Baker) (Speight) Shelton

Farmville…………………………………… Addie Catherine Baker Speight, age 89, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.

              Funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, at 2:00 P.M. at Fountain Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Jeff Holden. Interment will follow at Queen Anne Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Brenda and Danny Moore.

              She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Walter Speight, and husbands, James Murphy and Richard Shelton.

              She is survived by daughters, Brenda Moore and husband, Danny, of Farmville, and Deborah Winstead of Wilson; grandchildren, Cathy Hedrick, Chad Winstead, Christopher Moore, Jonathan Moore, and Stephanie Cato; and five great-grandchildren.
