Alfonzo Johnson Jr.

Farmville…………………. Alfonzo Johnson Jr. passed away on May 23, 2023. He was born November 23, 1964 to his parents Alfonzo Johnson Sr. and Shirley Wade Johnson of Wilson, NC.

Alfonzo was a strong willed, independent individual who loved his family, friends, and community. He deposited into many people’s lives with his dry humor, social work, “uber driving”, all while being a reliable friend, and a loving husband and father.

He never met a stranger and he had a love for people and always expressed his love for Jehovah.

To cherish his memory Alfonzo leaves his wife, Alice Redd Johnson of the home: one  son, Alfonzo “Terry” Johnson of Brooklyn, NY; his parents, Alfonzo Sr. and Shirley Wade Johnson of Wilson, NC; four sisters, Bracie Johnson of Orlando, FL, Valerie Johnson Washington (Earl) of Fayetteville, NC, Sulene Johnson DeLoatch of Blythewood, SC, Cheryl Johnson Eatmon (Donald) of Martinez, GA; father and mother in law, Fred and Joyce Redd of Falkland, NC; sister in laws, Josie Smith of Farmville, NC, Loretta Redd of Spring Lake, NC; nieces Brettany Cherrelle Williams (Orlando) of Wilson, NC, Aryana Smith of Farmville, NC; nephews, Robert Owens Jr. of Orlando, FL,  Jahi, Jaylin and Joshua DeLoatch of Blythewood, SC.

Although Alfonzo’s services were private, we as a family would like to express our love and gratitude for the many acts of kindness to our friends, family, doctors, brothers and sisters.
