Farmville........................Alfred Earl Eastwood, age 79, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Al Davis. Mr. Eastwood was a member of Beacon Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edna Edwards Eastwood of the home; daughter, Robin Eastwood of Grimesland; sons, Alfred E. Eastwood Jr., Johnnie I. Eastwood, and Mark Eastwood all of Farmville; sister, Sue Barr of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Blake Eastwood, Michaela Eastwood, and Amber Eastwood; and great-grandchild, Brayden Eastwood. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral home, Tuesday evening from 6 until 8:00 P.M. Those desiring to make a memorial may please consider the Pitt County Humane Society.
