   Fountain………………………………. Benjamin Franklin Carraway Jr., age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

A private graveside service will be held.

                                                Mr. Carraway was preceded in death by his parents Ben Franklin Carraway and Helen Morgana Lilley Carraway and sister, Betsy Ellen Carraway Kadric. 

                                                Mr. Carraway attended Fountain Elementary School, Farmville High School and Campbell College which is now Campbell University. He was a member of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Mr. Carraway was in sales and management at many car dealerships in North Carolina.

                                                He is survived by his son, Benjamin Christopher Carraway; brother, Phillip Carraway from San Antonio, TX; sisters, Norma Coggins and husband, Bobby of Greenville, NC, Jane Phillips of Smithfield, VA, Catherine Medlin and husband, Ronnie of Riegelwood, NC, Judy Thomas and Husband, John of Aberdeen, MD; Patsy Harrington and husband, Tommy of Ayden, NC, Susan Carraway and husband, Ben of Utah as well as many nieces and nephews.

                                                Visitation will be held Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Farmville Funeral Home.
