Beverly Joy Bundy

Farmville…………………….Beverly Joy Bundy, age 71, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center.

                                                Funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 1, at 11:00 A.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Jones.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.

                                                The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

                                                Joy was a member of King’s Cross Roads Original Free Will Baptist Church. She was a former teacher at Murfreesboro High School and Hertford County High School, and she always enjoyed family gatherings

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard M. Bundy.

                                                She is survived by her mother, Joyce Bundy of the home; brothers, Rick Bundy and wife, Judy of Garner and Jeff Bundy of Durham; special nephews Daniel Bundy and Samuel Bundy.
