Mr. Bradley Farris Allen, aged 62, a resident of Greenville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his own home on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Mr. Allen was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 18, 1961. He was the son of Faye Allen (age 81) and the late Billy Allen. Mr. Allen was a Site Superintendent at ABL and Associates of Raleigh, NC. In his spare time, he loved fishing, playing guitar, collecting knives, and spending time with his family.
On July 2, 2015, Mr. Allen married Sherry Midgett Newton, who survives. Also, surviving with his wife are his children, Bradley Boots Allen, of Nashville, Tennessee, Nicolas Jerry Allen, of Greenville, North Carolina; four stepchildren, Martin Bateman, Crystal Batmen, Nick Bateman and Amanda Riddick; brother Tommy Allen and wife, Jennifer Allen; one grandchild Trent Allen and 14 step-grandchildren.
Brad was a man of many talents. He could come up with and create any kind of contraption he thought of. Brad always knew how to make someone laugh. He loved spending time with family and friends as well as fishing on the river and while drinking a cold old.
Brad loved when the grandkids would come around because he could show off all his magic tricks. He was always up for an educated debate when it came to politics or any other topic. Brad was the kind of man that would pay it forward. When I say pay it forward, I mean by paying for the person behind him. He was a very generous man and would give you the shirt off his back if he had to.
Most importantly, Brad was the most loving and caring father, son, husband, brother, and friend you could ever ask for. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and step up and step in where other would not. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 13th at 3:00 pm at 4226 E church St. in Farmville NC 27828.
Cremation service was provided by Mitchell's Memorial Funeral Home 1026 W 5th street in Greenville, NC 27834.
