Farmville………………………………………….Carol Walston Joyner, age 84, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025.

                                                            Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 23, at 2:00 P.M. at Hollywood Cemetery by Rev. Stephen Prescott.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

                                                            She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Joyner; parents, Pete and Ruth Walston; brothers, Donald Walston and Michael Walston; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Walston.

                                                             She is survived by her sons, David Joyner and wife, Amy of Farmville and Mark Joyner and wife, Sandy of Cary; grandchildren, Jessica Heath, Jameson Joyner, Maralee Joyner, and Andrew Joyner; great grandchildren, Molly Joyner, Pippa Heath, Nova Heath, Kayden Cain, and another great grandson coming in the next few months; sister, Kay Ginn and husband, Lionel of Goldsboro; and sister-in-law, Joan Walston.

                                                            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marlboro Original Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 694, Farmville, NC 27828.
