Farmville……………Charles Jefferson Lehmann, age 73, died Wednesday December 11, 2024.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 14, at 3:00 P.M. at Friendship Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. John Hill. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M.
Mr. Lehmann was a member of Friendship Original Free Will Baptist Church, where he had served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, President of the Layman’s League and choir member. He also had served in the SECU Advisory Board. He loved fishing, sports, especially Duke Basketball, and most of all his church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Lehmann; and parents, Rev. Joseph Lehmann and Susie Lehmann.
He is survived by a sister, Lorraine Moore and husband, Kindall; sister-in-law, Elaine Pickett and husband, Joe; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Anderson and husband, Dennis, William Moore and wife, Melissa, Emily Harris and husband, Jamie, and Mark Pickett; great-nieces and nephews, Alex Walters, Katelynn Walters, Wyatt Moore, Cole Harris, and Max Pickett.; best friend, Gilbert Cobb; and several other special friends.
