Charles Glenn Letchworth passed away on February 4, 2022 after a long and painful battle with cancer.
Glenn retired as Warehouse/Procurement Manager after a 30+ year career with the Town of Farmville.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; his son, Justin (Caroline) grandchildren Dash, Poppy, and Daisy; his son, Mark; his stepchildren, Chad Starcher (Julie) grandson, Kolby; Jason Starcher (Angela) grandson, Marcus; Maegan Roberson (Clay) grandchildren, Preslie and Maddox; Zach Starcher (Amber), granddaughter Ryan; his sister, Anne Grant; nieces Kerry Grant Geyser (Reinier) and Sarah Letchworth James (Tom); nephews Andy Grant (Karen) and Josh Letchworth (Dana). He also had a number of great-nieces and nephews and aunts and cousins. There was a great deal of love in the family.
He was predeceased by his parents Charlie Letchworth and Dot Letchworth, his brother Steve Letchworth, and his sister-in-law Carol Voges Letchworth.
He was a world-class husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and lover of things old, interesting, or collectible.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Farmville Funeral Home chapel, followed by visitation with the family.
