                                                                                       A private service will be held.

                                                                                       Clarence was born in Edgecombe County on November 3, 1945, to Clifton DeMuth and Florence Summerlin DeMuth.

                                                                                    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, and Fred DeMuth; sister, Ellen DeMuth Pittman; nephew, Bobby DeMuth, Jr. and his dog and best friend, Sam.

                                                                                    He is survived by  family and friends.
