Clarence Carnell Mercer

Walstonburg…………………………Clarence Carnell Mercer, age 90, died Thursday, December 29, 2022.

                                                            Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 2, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Woolard.  Interment will follow in the Mercer Family Cemetery at the home near Walstonburg.

                                                            The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

                                                            Mr. Mercer was a member of Spring Branch Original Free Will Baptist Church.

                                                            He is survived by his wife, Ruth Vandiford Mercer of the home; sons, Keith Carnell Mercer and wife, Donna of Raleigh and Anthony Scott “Tony” Mercer and wife, Debbie of Walstonburg; grandchildren, Scott Mercer and Leah Mercer, Melissa Parsons, Bess Mercer and Drew Mercer; and three great grandchildren.

                                                            Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Spring Branch Original Free Will Baptist Church, 1863 Craft Road, Walstonburg, NC 27888.
