Farmville………………………. Connie Corbett Paul
A Devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Faithful Servant of Christ
Connie Corbett Paul, age 75, peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Moye Corbett Fussell; her father, Wright Corbett; and her stepfather, JC Fussell.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Amber Reel, and son-in-law, Joshua Reel. Connie was the proud and adoring grandmother of seven cherished grandchildren: Brody, Olivia, Shane, Heath, Adella, Tenley, and Wrightley Reel. Her love for them was evident in every hug, story, and special moment shared—she never missed a chance to spoil them and remind them how deeply they were loved.
Connie’s love for her family extended to her sisters, Brenda Joyner and Libby Gaskins (husband Walter), and to her nieces Ashli Garris and Amanda Claussen (husband Shane), each of whom held a special place in her heart.
A devoted Christian, Connie was a faithful member of Kings Cross Roads Church, where she found strength, purpose, and community in her walk with Christ. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and steadfast faith touched the lives of all who knew her.
Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, Connie’s memory lives on through the family she nurtured and the faith she carried so proudly. She leaves behind a beautiful example of grace, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 4th at 6:00 P.M. at Farmville Funeral Home by Rev. Bruce Jones. The family with receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M.
