Danny Delaune Byrd

Walstonburg………………..Danny Delaune Byrd, age 70, went to his eternal home, Thursday, October 12, 2023.

                                                Graveside service will be conducted Sunday, October 15, at 2:00 P.M. at Walstonburg Cemetery by Rev. Donald Daniels and Rev. Mike Woolard.  The family will receive friends at the home, 7577 Hwy 91 South Walstonburg.

                                                Mr. Byrd dedicated his life to the Lord, a love and dedication he also extended to his loved ones.  He enjoyed all kinds of fishing and spoiling his grandchildren.  He was a loving father and husband.  He worked diligently for Fluor Construction for over 30 years and was also a United States Air Force Veteran.

                                                He is survived by his wife, Cindy Byrd of the home; daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Rodney Lovic of Walstonburg; his grandchildren, Megan and husband, Brandon Dixon of Winterville, Daniel Duncan and Emily Richardson of Bailey, JoJo Lovic and Harmony Lovic of Walstonburg, his brother, Bill Byrd of Marion, SC; along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Marjorie Byrd of South Carolina and son, Charles Toney of Walstonburg.

                                                In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Farmville Church of God, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
