Greenville…………………………………….David Lee King Jr., age 60, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026.

                                                                                He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee King., Sr., and life partner, Hope Strickland.

                                                         Funeral service will be held Monday, July 13, at 6:00 PM at the Farmville Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Toler.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

                                                                                He is survived by his mother, Susan L Baker and husband James; daughters, Ashley King, Heather King, Jessica Avery (Tim), and Taylor Pollard; sons, Dylan King and Steven Tripp (Michelle); sisters, Susan King, Cathy Baker Gordon, Robin Sindy, Sarah King and Mary King; brothers, Harry King (Kristy), Kenneth Baker (Cindy), Matthew King, Samuel King; grandchildren, Phoebe Greene, Kylie Johnson, Damon Greene, Kam’ron Johnson, Khloe Johnson, Elijah Mondragon, Delilah Tripp, Brantlee Avery and Kolby Avery.
