Wilmington…………………………………………..David Eugene Beamon, age 84, formerly of Farmville, died Friday, February 24, 2023.

                                                                                Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ronnie Hobgood, Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. 

                                                                                The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

                                                                                Mr. Beamon was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Annie Beamon; sister, Peggy Brann; brother, Willie Beamon; and a daughter, Karen Jean Harrell.

                                                                                He is survived by his wife, Jean Hobgood Beamon; daughters, Pamela Harrell, Sue Beamon Thomas and husband, Eric, and Dianne Beamon Bunn; sisters, Margaret Beamon Baldree and husband, Larry, and Brenda Beamon Thornton and husband, Rev. Ed Thornton; grandchildren, Sarah Gray and husband, Cameron, Shelby Bynum and husband, Matthew, Cameron Beamon Saieed; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Brinson Jr. and Hunter Gray.
