Dean Mark Everette, born February 3, 1970, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Dean loved to talk politics much to the girls’ dismay, tell dad jokes just to see what would get an eyeroll or a smile, take pictures of our family, and keep all our crazy under control. To have him as a friend was a treasure. To have him in your life was a blessing.
He is survived by his wife of almost 19 years and high school sweetheart, Dawn; his daughters Annabelle (16) and Ruthanne (12) both of whom he was so proud; his mother Dana Everette of Greenville; his father Horace Lawrence of New Bern; his sister Tracy (Patrick) Everette-Lenz of Greenville along with their children Coben, Hayden, and Makenzie; his brother Cameron (Marcella) Lawrence of New Bern and their children Regan and Riley.
A celebration of Dean’s life will be held at Farmville Funeral Home at 3 Tuesday afternoon. The family will accept visitors at the funeral home beginning at 2. Graveside services will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville.
The family encourages and appreciates donations to the Marlboro Free Will Baptist Family Life Center Building.
