Donna Tyson Wallace

Deep Run……………………………………Donna Tyson Wallace, age 70, of Deep Run, NC peacefully passed on to live with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:28 P.M. with her children by her side.

                                                                Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 17 at 11:00 A.M.  at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ricky Garner. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the Farmville Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

                                                                Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, William Ivey Tyson and Alice Mumford Tyson; a brother, Gary Tyson; and a niece, Jennifer Tyson. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family, and was an employee for thirty-nine years at the Kinston Free Press where she worked as a Human Resources Manager.

                                                                She is survived by her daughters, Laura Carlisle and her significant other, Steven Harrell of Deep Run, and Susan Wallace and her significant other, David Stocks of Kinston; the love of her life grandson, Matthew Carlisle; sister, Louise Owens and husband, Carrol of New Bern; brothers, William Ivey “Billy” Tyson Jr. and wife, Debbie of Arkansas, and Keith Tyson and wife, Diane of Winterville; sister-in-law, Donna Tyson of Farmville; thirteen nieces and nephews; and her former husband, and good friend, Rick Wallace.
