Farmville…………………………………. Doris Virginia Tugwell Ellis, age 85, died Friday, November 18, 2022.

                                                                Funeral service will be conducted Monday, November 21, at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. Oscar Coggin at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00.

                                                                Mrs. Ellis was as member of Providence Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Ellis; and a son, Anthony “Tony” Ellis.

                                                                She is survived by her son, Brian Ellis and wife, Latanya of Winterville; grandchildren, Madison Ellis, Jesse Wayne Ellis, Terrell Cordice, and Zoe Dudley; daughter-in-law, Mary Murphy Ellis of Farmville; brother, Bud Tugwell of Farmville; niece, Kay Sandy Mercer, and Christy Tugwell; nephews, Jeff and Terry Tugwell.
