Walstonburg…………………………………Doris Jean Griffin Gay, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

                                                            A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 4 at 2:00 P.M. at Queen Anne Cemetery,  in Fountain by Rev. Bruce Jones. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.  

                                                             She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Gay of the home; daughters; Rebecca Reaves of Wilson and Olivia Lynn Gay of Kenly, sister; Marie Seiler and husband, Henry of Goldsboro, brother; Jimmy Griffin of Snow Hill, nieces; Renee Forte Cuevas, Heidi Jones, Misty Jones Hobbs, and nephew; Tracy Moye.
