Farmville...................................Edna Cobb Horton, age 84, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from the Church Street Chapel of the Farmville Funeral Home by Rev. Dennis Sherrod Interment will follow at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain. Mrs. Horton was a member of Dilda's Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Archie Horton of the home; daughter, Anne Horton Harkins of Garner; sons, Archie Wallace Horton Jr. of Mt. Olive, Jimmy Randall Horton of Lake Wales, FL, and Donald Owen Horton of Wake Forest; sisters, Agnes Stokes of Macclesfield, Aldine Hedgepeth of Fountain, and Doris Horton of Pinetops; brother, Randolph Cobb of Fountain; grandchildren, Dana Horton Hughling, Timothy Dale Horton, Leah Horton Groff, Ashley Anne Horton, Hannah Faith Harkins, and Heather Grace Harkins; and seven great-grandchildren.
