Edward Dwight Taylor

Walstonburg…………………….Edward Dwight Taylor, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023.

                        Mr. Taylor was born and raised in Wilson Co., was a graduate of Elm City High School, and also graduated from N.C. State with a degree in Wildlife Biology. He had a career in the post office before early retirement. He loved anything outdoors, was an avid fisherman, hiker, wildlife lover, and golfer. His dry wit and sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.

                        He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Wanda Galloway Taylor of the home; sister, Elizabeth Garret

t and husband, Vernon of Cary; niece Jennifer Garrett Gilson and husband Matt and their daughter, Taylor Gilson; niece Carrie Artis and husband, Mario, and nephew, Matthew Galloway and wife, Michelle and their children, Eli, Dash, and Sunny.

                        Funeral services will be held Monday January 9, at 1:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Matthew Galloway, with the family receiving friends immediately following the service. Interment will be held in the Walstonburg Cemetery following the visitation.
