Edward "Eddie" Carroll Davis

Greenville…………………………………. Edward “Eddie” Carroll Davis, known by many as “Kid”, age 68, passed away Wednesday, July 24, alongside his loving wife, Marci Warren Davis.

                                                                Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 31 at 12:00 P.M. at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville by Rev. Scott Conner.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M at Farmville Funeral Home.

                                                                He was preceded in death by his parents, JB and Carol Ann Tyson Davis.

                                                                Eddie loved anything sports related. He enjoyed many yearly baseball trips and loved watching his kids play in all of their games. He and his wife enjoyed spending time together, especially at the beach.  “Kid” was always fun to be around, never met a stranger, and was the life of the party. 

                                                                He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Wall and husband, Chip; son, Burton Davis and wife, Cierra; grandchildren, Khadirah and Nelly; his wife’s family and his beloved pet, Jet.
