Macclesfield……………………………..Eleanor Jefferson Cobb, age 87, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center.


                                                                Graveside service will be held Friday, December 18, at 2:00 P.M. at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service, and other times at the home of Eleanor Cobb, 4401 Webbs Chapel Rd, Macclesfield, NC 27852.


                                                                Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Joseph T. Jefferson; brothers, Danny Jefferson and J. Franklin Jefferson; husband, John Edmond (Bud) Cobb; and grandson, Randall Harris.


                                                                She is survived by her children, Belinda and Van Gurkins of Farmville, Delores and Randy Harris of Falkland, Johnnie and Debbie Cobb and Jeff and Ann Cobb, all of Macclesfield, Mickey and Teresa Cobb of Pinetops, grandchildren, Scott Webb, Casey Webb, Kristie Andrews, Kelly Byrd, Renee Brown, Lori Hill, Jonathan Cobb, Travis Baker, Mathew Cobb, Joshua Cobb, Christy Gurkins ; 21 great grandchildren;  brother, Douglas Jefferson and wife, Joyce of Tarboro; and sister, Dianne Wallace and husband, Douglas of Macclesfield; special friend, Brenda Roberson.


                                                                Those desiring to pay their respects may do so Friday from 9:00 A.M until 12:30 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
