Farmville…………………………………………Eleanor Darlene Strickland Brann, age 81, died Monday, September 4, 2023.

                                                A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 7, at 4:00 P.M. at Hollywood Cemetery by Rev. Tony Glass. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home.

                                                Mrs. Brann was preceded in death by her son, Billy Wade Brann; parents, Floyd and Mildred Strickland; brother, H.F. Strickland; and sister, Joyce Braxton.

                                                She is survived by her daughters, Susan Holloman and husband, Don of Walstonburg, and Sandra Bibbs and husband, Glenn of Grimesland; grandchildren, Chasity Walston, Madison Holloman, Wesley Bibbs and Jackson Bibbs; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Grace Walston and Ivey Lee Walston; sister, Fay Wainwright of Farmville; brothers, Daniel Strickland, Kenneth Strickland, and Glenn Strickland all of Farmville.
