Farmville.............................Elizabeth Lewis Evans, age 73, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her home.

                                                                                A memorial service will be held Monday, April 8 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Farmville by Rev. Graham Byrum. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

                                                                                Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents; William and Frances Lewis and brother, Bill Lewis.

                                                                                Mrs. Evans was a retired guidance counselor from Farmville Central High School.

                                                                                She is survived by her husband, Don Evans of the home; daughters, Elizabeth Everette and husband Daniel of Belvoir and Anne Evans of Greenville; sister, Nell Marie Lewis Beacham and husband, Andy of Washington; brother-in-law, Robert W. Evans and wife Linda; granddaughters, Abbigail Everette and Emma Everette; and several nieces and nephews.
