Fountain………………………………….Elsie Dunn Collins age 93, passed away om Friday, June 13, 2025.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 A.M. at the Dunn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collins attended the Free Will Baptist Bible College now Welch College, and completed her degree at Atlantic Christian now Barton College. She taught school in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She loved her job and kept in touch with some of her students from her first teaching job in Forest Virginia. She loved the Lord and read the Bible every day. She inspired all she talked to about our Lord Jesus Christ. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ray Collins; parents, Robert and Lizzie Dunn; brothers, Tommy Dunn and Robert Ervin Dunn; and nephew, Robbie Dunn.

She is survived by a nephew, Mike Dunn and wife, Becky of Fountain and their children; nieces, Darlene McLawhorn and her husband, Ricky and their children, Kelly Jones and her husband, Dale, and Sherri Smith and her husband, Michael, and their children.
