Elsie Vivian Owens Boone

Elsie Vivian Owens Boone age 74, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother entered her heavenly home on March 15th 2025. Born to the late Ephraim and Margaret Owens. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Jo Boone, Brother Wayne Owens, her sister Joan Adcock and brother-in-law Samuel Adcock.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 18 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Earl Boone of the home. Sons; Robert Daniel Boone and wife Deanna of Washington, Christopher Raymond Boone of the home. Brothers Elton Owens and wife Darlene of Tarboro, Ray Owens and wife Wilma of Tarboro. Sister; Phyllis Wainwright and husband Freddy of Farmville. Grandchildren Elisabeth Boone of Greenville, Ashley Boone of Washington and Joseph Bartram of the home. Great Granddaughter; Emerson Boone of Washington. Sister-in-law; Dean Moots of Farmville. Many nieces and nephews including Penny Moots who helped in so many ways.  

With specials thanks to the team of Gentiva Hospice with honorable mention of Lakeisha RN and Rosa CNA for all the wonderful care that was provided at the end of life.
