Ayden……………………….Ernestine Davenport Rouse, age 92, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at her home.

                                                Funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 16, at

11:00 A.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Mike Wells.  Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville. 

                                                The family will receive friends Sunday, evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

                                                Mrs. Rouse was preceded in death by her parents, Heber and Hattie Mae Davenport; husband, George Rouse; grandson, Josh Rouse; son, Randall Rouse; brothers, Heber Davenport Jr. and Johnny Davenport; sisters, Linda Lang, Claudia Rouse, and Helen Peaden.

                                                She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Garris of the home; son, Tommy Rouse and wife, Crystal of Macclesfield; sisters, Alma Denning of Greenville, Diane Robinson of Mount Olive, and Sue Hudson of Knightdale; brothers, Edmond Davenport and wife, Peggy  of San Antonio, Texas and Frank Davenport of Cairo, Georgia; grandchildren, Blake Bennett and wife, Brandi, Sara Sutton, Megan Nelson and husband, Alan, Jessica Britt and husband, Thomas, Bridgett Sasser and husband, Matt, Dustin Gooding, and Kimberly Rouse and husband, Vincent, and Douglas Rouse; great grandchildren, Kaila Rouse, Hailey Sutton, Jordan Crawford, Faith Leonard, Madelyn Sutton, Landon Crawford, Gavin Bennett, Ava Leonard, Addison Bennett, Alden Nelson, Carter Nelson, Noah Sasser, and Jordan Sutton.
