Greenville…………………………Geraldine Hutchins, age 90, died Saturday, January 23, 2021.

                                                            Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 31, at 11:00 A.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

                                                            Ms. Hutchins was preceded in death by her parents, George Hutchins and Alberta Johnson Hutchins. She was a lifelong member of Sunlight Baptist Church of Hamner, AL. 

                                                            Ms. Hutchins is survived by her daughters, Alberta Hooks of Montgomery, AL, Gladys Mitchell of the home, and Maple Mitchell-Levonski (Robert Levonski) of Farmville, NC; sisters, Christine Henderson of Dayton, OH, and Marjorie Herring of Chantilly, VA; brother, Will Hutchins of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Alicia Hooks, LaShaun Hooks, Derrick Mitchell (Skye Mitchell), La Tonya McGee (Brandon McGee), and Demetrius Plater; great-grandchildren, Lee’Asia Mitchell, Brittany Mitchell, Jordan Hooks, Rayne Mitchell, Jaylen Mitchell, Demetrius Plater II, A’Maree Plater, and Ryann Mitchell; great-great grandchildren, Taliyah Plater, Sage Hooks, and Aniyah Mitchell.
