Greenville.......................Henry Bertis Tyson, age 68, died Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, at the Farmville Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. with the graveside service to follow at the Tyson Family Cemetery. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Henry Bertis Tyson Jr., 2529 Friendship Church Road, Farmville, NC. He is survived by his daughters, Dora Beaman and husband, Robert, and Evelyn Corbett and husband, Woody, all of Ayden; sons, Henry Bertis Tyson Jr. and wife, Angie, of Farmville and Christopher Thomas Tyson of Greenville; sisters, Linda Cobb of Farmville, Angela Whichard of Raleigh, and Rose Holloman and husband, Tony, of Walstonburg; brothers, Johnny Tyson and wife, Brenda, and James Tyson, both of Greenville, Charles Tyson and wife, Linda, of Ayden, and Van Tyson of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Andrew Beaman, Samantha Thomas, Ashley Beaman, Hannah Tyson, Amber Beaman, Katelyn Corbett, Luke Corbett, Amy Manning, and Amber Manning; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Thomas and Abigail Thomas.
